:poke am I understanding that illustration right? Do you roll your film with the liner away from the dowel? Is that what that is showing? :poke Is that how you guys are doing that?

I always roll it with the liner against the dowel (or whatever im using as a core)...on the inside.

If the liner is on the inside, how do you get it off as it unrolls??

see above

it unrolls itself.....the water holds it to the back of the tint....try it

it also seems to come into contact with the glass faster than with the liner out

to quote tintman237 though "what do I know?" its just the way ive always done it

when releasing the liner I take one end of the film and hold it in my teeth and then take one hand and peel and the other hand hold the film with.

That is my doggie door in my house, so I know its a small window, but hopefully you can get what I'm saying with the pictures and apply it to a larger window. :tantrum:beer
