:beer just what it says it is "rounding the corners of the film" :dunno lays down perfect, no peeling or fingering issues and no light gaps, thats what works for me :tantrum

Got the job done yesterday thanks to Dave at Diamond Tints lending a hand.

It was awkward enough with both of us with the large pains 3 ft x 10 ft is pretty big when you are actually there withthe film in your hands.

Determined to get this backroll thing sorted

The saga will continue

Thanks again for all the input everyone :dunno

To revive this thread I think bob must be using a film with PS adhesive and not a CDF type, I think ( with my little flat glass exp) that you can release the liner far easier on a CDF type than a large roll of PS film.

Hi everyone!

I've tried the revers rolling technique but seem to have a problem with it.

I'm not sure if it's due to the fact that I don't use to much water or what?!

The problem occures when I have rolled back a piece of the line on to the roller and apply the tint film on to the window, as I'm done with the unrolling I can't move the tint at all. I'm guessing that it's due to the fact that the linner pushes the water away as I unroll the role.

What am I doing wrong?

Ps. I roll the liner inside as most of you guys do.
