Reasons to Keep it Legal

The first sign of me getting old was when I no longer wanted dark film and preferred the lighter shades on my own cars. :oldman

Not old just wise, lol. I have 35% on my personal with 70 ceramic on the windshield, I know that dark tint is just asking for it sooner or later so I keep it legal. Which doesn't matter on my car because in MD it's a historic and tint laws don't apply but safer is better than being sorry.

Perhaps I am too blunt,  just tell them (Very NICELY 🤔 ) "NO, It's illegal!" Don't  waste your time or leave them any room.

If they persist with the whining and begging, Give them permission to  leave and say

"If you want legal tint and a professional job, I can help you out (and hand them your card), otherwise I'm sure you understand I have appointments and deadlines to keep. Please come back when the tint laws change in your favor!".
