scrapeing rear window with defroster

I had one yesterday that had been tinted in 86 and it was in bad shape I told him up front there was no saving the defroster.

OK , :booga HERE'S WHATCHA DO WHEN IT GETS DIFFICULT LIKE THAT U CAN HEAT THE OUTSIDE OF THE SPOT AND THEN WHILE HOT JUST SCRAPE WITH RAZOR.

TO PREVENT IT JUST CUT OUT A TRASH BAG AS IF U WERE GONNA TINT IT.

WITH THAT PATTERN SPRAY THE INSIDE WITH UR SOLUTION AND THEN PLACE THE PATTERN INSIDE IF U WER TINTING IT. USE UR HANDS TO LAY IT.

U CAN SIT IT OUT IN THE SUN FOR A WHILE AND IT CAN AND MOST TIMES WILL JUST PILL AWAY. IF U HAVE NO SUN, HEAT THE OUTSIDE WITH UR H-GUN AND FROM TIME TO TIME PEEL BACK THE PATTERN AND SPRAY AND REAPPLY. U SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM AFTER THAT. ALSO USE SOME GOOF-OFF TO TURN THE GLUE INTO SNOT! OR SOME SP-20 IN SPRAY CAN.(ADHESIVE REMOVER)

I do the same thing..but I use amonia and water solution in a spray bottle....and us that for my solution...works great when you but it outside...absorbs into the tint to softin the glue..sometime the glue will come off with the tint... :lol6
