Like Mdog said. Start with your hand untill the fingers are pretty small.

Some use a glove and some will use a folded paper towel.

When using your hand you can feel the finger better and stop before it creases. Plus you can manipulate the stress better. Then finish with your hard card. :spit

I always shrink with my hand first, I use a soft cotton glove to insulate my hand from the heat of the gun, only use the card on the small stuff at the end.

When it branches out, take your hand and split it in two, warm it up in that gap evenly. It'll start to settle down after you work it for a while, then go for it with the hard card. Make sure you re-wet it a time or two if you're spending a while on it.

I never got the hang of wet shrinking. try the dryer sheet shrink with a glove :spit :fbj you can feel the fingers better with the glove

Ive seen one of the local :asshat just throw limo black high quality Gila solar tints papers(5%) on the window, and slice the "wrinkles that p1ss me off" right down the middle. They go away like a bad rash. :thumb
