Rear Window Carpeting

I'm tinting a '98 Malibu that has carpet all the way up to the rear window. To take the carpet out I would have to remove the rear speakers and half the back seat. I was wondering if you guys (the pros) usually take the carpet all the way out, or if there is a better way.

Nope, I don't take the decks out of those cars. If you push down on it near the window, it should give you enough room to slide the film in there. If you don't have experience tinting, I don't suggest you start on that car.

I remove the rear deck on those........ :shock

I have been tinting for a year or so, I just usually take them out. Most of the cars I have done come out pretty easy. I just didn't know if there was a better way I didn't know about.

that cars not hard to take out and way cleaner with that carpet on the glass. just put the speaker grill, the speakers, pull 1 1/4 trim, pop buttons on deck lift up and toward the missing 1/4 trim walla thin unplug bulb 3 min tops
