Just did one yesterday I agree it's really easy, the panels come off with the greatest of ease.

Panels pull back for full lower clearance with 2 screws for front panels and 1 screw for back panels

so remove the screws near the top of the door card and and yank the top of the panel back? its that easy?

Yes , 1 screw behind the door handle latch and 1 screw on the upper portion on the handle (removing the plastic covering for both first of course). You also remove the triangle piece by the mirror as well. Once you've done a couple a hundred it like breathing :lol
