While we are flattered and happy that you chose to come to us for your tinting needs, PLEASE, when deciding on the level of tint that will suit your car do not get angry when we eliminate 2 (or more) choices for you because they are illegal on your car. Yes, we carry 5%, 20% and so on. These are legal on some vehicles, but unfortunately, not on your 2 or 4 door car. Please do not make a scene in front of our other customers because we will not sell you film that we are NOT ALLOWED to sell you. Yes, it sucks that your neighbor can have it on his/her SUV, and we are sure that many of your friends or aquaintences have it with no problems. But the fact remains that on certain vehicles, only a very restrictive level of darkness has been deemed legal by YOUR representatives. We didn't write the laws, we only follow them. While your questions are welcomed, and we want you to be informed, we do not have the time to explain to each and everyone the whys and wherefores about why we can carry a darker film, yet cannot put it on your car. It's the law, end of story.

We would love nothing better than to sell you what you want, and have you happy, rather than have you leave disappointed with your purchase. We did not write these laws, we were not asked for input when the laws were being written, and I for one would certainly not have voted for passing these laws if the were put to a vote. The fact remains that certain films are not legal on certain vehicles. Complaining to us about it is like beating a dead horse. We KNOW how you feel. We hear it DAILY. Instead of complaining to us about it, write your state representatives. It would take less effort to do that than wear us out about how unfair it is.

Thank You.

I live in NC, same problem here. I already wrote my representitives on the tint law here. I let them know I felt the law was unfair. I encourage anyone who feels the same way to take time to do this. My question is why are tint laws like this in the first place?

There are too many reasons the gov't give us to justify these laws to go into. Suffice it to say that ALL the reasons they give are either unconstitutional, or do not hold water when compared to statistics. The gov't wants us to believe they are making a safer world for us on one hand, while stripping our civil rights away with the other!! :spit . Slight of hand. Keep us focused on one thing, while eroding our rights because we ain't looking!
