vet needs help

With many years of experience I still have a problem with lint! I mist water on myself, I mist water on the door trim, I tack my clothes with scrap tint. just when I thought I have tinted the perfect window, there it is, no bigger than a spec. The fact is that the customer will never see it , but it's huge to me! I know this is not the "tint help line" but it seemed more appropriate here because of my previouse postings. I also thought the more seasond vets would be on this sight. I guess if I have to post a tip it would be that with all the experiece you have you still better be open to a tipp that will make you more experienced!

I generally razor the window first...wipe down the window and the top edge of the window ...re mist it and squeegee it ...then wet er down again ...I mist the air around the window to be peeled also wetting the tint for less static...then lay er in ....you have to keep the air level down in the area you are working in most likely its in the air and not on you

Keeps the dust out of the air !?!

Where are you all tinting at ??? Out in the horse barn ??

Are you setting your tools on stacks of hay ??

Is there a mini dust devil whirling through the 'shop' ?? :thumb

Even the cleanest of homes , if you draw the drapes and the morning sun is beaming through the window , you'll always see SOMETHING floating in the air..a shop with vehicles coming in and out of it is only going to be worse no matter how clean you keep it . Spraying down by the peel board is a great way of keeping down any contaminants in a shop where a quality install shows AFTER the drying period and not hidden from moisture in a fresh job.

I actually go the extra mile..I purify the air in the shop 2 different ways and ionize it as well ..it makes a difference..not as much as what it's worth (but it's a good selling tool to customers :thumb )
