After 7 years I finally replaced my Pentium III Sony Vaio desktop with a new Toshiba Qosmio Laptop. This thing is super fast and I am still getting used to the whole Vista thing. Nice specs for $1300.00

:rollin I wish we could get cpu's that cheap.

you can easily. it just depends on if you need all that. just look for a big hard drive, a lot of memory, and a good processor. most are core II now anyway.

ive seen 200gb hard drive, 3g ram, core II w/ 17 lcd's for $600. thats plenty depending on what youre doing. but its harder to find xp comps. vista is nice but im still an xp guy. actually when vista came out I wanted it cuz it looks tight, but when I found out I couldnt play my games on it I said no.
