Have any of you all out there playing around with the speech recognition feature of Vista? This %&$# is just like Star Trek! This entire post from opening Internet explorer, going to tintdude.com, getting to the FooBar and starting a new topic Has all been accomplished simply by talking. I'm dictating this post and the computers typing it. This Is Just Too cool!

XP had speech recognition, but it was a function of Word. All it did was convert speech to text. This %&$# recognizes commands. Just like Captain Kirk I can control my computer by voice.

What about punctuations and stuff????? :poke

You have to say "comma", "period", etc. but still VERY cool! :thumb

What about %&$#?

THAT one was translated from the english by the handy dandy TD.com filter!
