If you have never even seen anyone do flat glass then I hope you have plenty of film. The edge cut is not super easy to get right esp in the corners! Take your time and you will get it.

you should have a five way tool also you can get one from home depot or lowes in the paint or wallpaper isle great for trimming on the glass leaves a nice clean gap from the edge's....also you will need to bump your edge's with a hard card and paper towel very important .... while squeegeeing make sure you push and dont pull...and over lap your squeegeeing by have

And squeegee good and hard with an overlapping pattern with a slight angle.

Leave no water behind.
