But if you do, here are some helpful hints...

With the MT26 fully extended, you can release the top so the legs can be

pulled together about a shoulder's width for a few more inches. :)

If that's not enough, the elbows at the top make a great platform for more height.

Be careful when stepping up, though!

If you have to lean forward, try not to breathe! :thumb

Notice the foot position and great calves :thumb

Oh that's not all! More helpful hints on spiral staircases (yes, same house)

Leg extensions are TOO short for spirals.

If you don't have a cinder block handy, just flip your tank over. You may need a spray bottle to tint though! :thumb

Also your partner should be at least 280 pounds (mine was) if you want an effective holder/catcher.

That's called getting it done! ( I know it's also called :thumb )

I try to think, what will happen to my family if I fall and end up a quadriplegic! Not to say that I don't do dumb things but?????

I dunno... I've actually fallen off more fiberglass "A" frame ladders, standing on the approved (ie. don't stand above this step - so I dont) step... those things are, IMO, an accident just waiting to happen. After my last fall, I decided that either I'm given a LG type ladder to use (or bring my own) or I don't do the job. (sub work)

My LG ladders - I'll hang off them like a monkey any day of the week. :shock
