Yet another use for tint cores

Recommended Posts

Way cool table and great on recycling! :lol2 Got my vote for both. :thumb:beer Did you attach the rolls to the end cap with adhesive, I wonder what the stuff you use to put pvc pipe together with would do on the core and end cap?

Two simple drywall screws through core into endcap. The endcaps are attached to the wood the same way.

Ignore the silicone you see it didn't really do anything but keep the cores from moveng while I heaved

the next level up. A helping hand would have been easier!

I one made a cool vertical standing nightlight out of a film core! Use the black end-cap for the base. Drill a hole dead-center, and add a lamp socket with on/off switch. Then use one of those elongated type 15 watt fish-aquarium type bulbs ( no more than 15 watts!!, or the bulbs heat will melt the plastic core and could start a fire!!),.... otherwise, it makes a nice conversation-piece until the pets knock it over!!
