When should you tint your vehicle?

Cold weather will slow dry out time and requires more time in the shop than it takes to install. We usually ask to have the car all day and we bake it with infra-red heaters.

This may seem extreme! But, after all the S.G. supreme problems shops faced,(mostly northern climates) we insist on enough time to get the film to at least start to dry.

Winter installs are my favorite due to having more than enough time for perfection. Located in northern michigan, cold is an issue even in july! :thumb

Hello...I was wondering if having your vehicle tinted in cold weather has any effect on the tint on glass. I live in Michigan and currently it's still winter and pretty cold. I was going to wait until the weather gets 60 degress or above to have my windows professionally tinted. Just wanted to know wheather I should wait or or not?

Thank you.

Hi Tchaudha if you're in northern Michigan I can help you out. We can film your auto anytime. If you are in southern Michigan there are others like GT that can assist you.

Good luck!
