My take on Geoshield IRs 70

the solar absorption goes below 50% to like 47% or something like that when it is on 1/8" glass....the 1/4" glass is what makes the number as high.....

Generally, it is 4-5% but it depends on the film. So then IRis 70 is a low reflective, fairly low SA, high vlt ceramic performing better than a 40%vlt ceramic. Nice! :tantrum Why not call it Geo 70 then if it is ceramic? :rollin

is it not that the IRis film is high on IR rejection? Like I said, I would assume it is the type of "ceramic" used....

That makes it even more interesting. IR rejection would be where the majority of the performance would come from because it is not blocking out much visible light at 70%vlt. If it doesn't have a high IR rejection then what is making it perform so well?
