Who has the time to think of that crap! MMMMMM... I wonder if 3m tape is the correct size. They can not test every roll of tape they should of gotten a better lawyer because they would have to test every roll to make that statement true and I bet they did not. What if just a batch got f up by some cracked out employees! But dam that would suck to be the owner of that company right about now!

they know what they are doing, and they just got caught doing it..can you imaging how much money they saved by doing that, and at the same time screwing over the consumer..they dont have a very good track record with misleading the consumer.

He's right... even though it seems like a stupid thing, and so what if a roll of tape you buy is slightly narrower than you think it is, think of how much money 3M saved by doing that. It's an easy way save 6% on your material costs and pocket more money from that product :spit

Quick, every run and go sue.

A tape that was labeled for "1-inch use" measured 0.94 of an inch. That 6 percent deficiency also showed up on the company's other tape products.

Almost all tape companies do it now. Most say "1-inch use" or "2-inch use", but if you READ IT you'll see it says something like 23 mm.

So someone can sue Sherwin-Williams and Intertape for sure.

Sue happy people are whats wrong with this country. 1" tape that actually measures .94, thats like us being sued because a customer wanted 20%, and the actual vlt was 21%. I guess you have to make money anyway you can these days. And NO, I'm not a 3m fan.
