I PUT THE FILM ON THE GLASS TAKE A SHARPIE OUTLINE THE BOTTOM AND SIDES. ROLL WINDOW DOWN CUT TOP EDGE, TRANSFER TO SETUP BOARD ADD MY QUARTER INCH FOR TUCKING AND CUT. NO CUTTING ON THE GLASS AND YOU DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH DAYLIGHT EVER. NO CUTTING RUBBERS EITHER.

and.... minus the 1/4" on each side.... maybe 1/8"

Double cut, hand cut, and I just "tweak" the blade and cut along the center piller, then I add an 1/8 inch to the front line, line up, roll up, no gaps either.

cut on the car without daylight.....doing it that way for a long time now?????
