Whats a good way to match or come close to factory tint darkness??? I got a 08 Chevy Z71 to do..Just looking for some tips..I live in MA if that helps

It is going to be very difficult to almost impossible to match the factory privacy glass because those windows were made with some type of dye in the glass and the color is really grey smoke while the 2 front doors have a greenish hue to it. There is no film that you can apply onto a greenish hue glass that will give you a grey smoke look unless you go with a really dark film but that is !llegal so you are really out of luck.

But if you must try, go with a 30% charcoal film and it will look pretty good.

Are you tinting it or someone else? Just figuring a pro should already know what works best. OTI's 22% is spot on for GM's

I am very happy with carbon 18 as a direct match, however it is not legal on the fronts in many states.

on chevy's especially.

this is just my opinion of course
