I trim a frog-hair out from around the entire gasket, I mean like a 1/64. When I cut the pattern on the outside, I cut it exact. With most of the gaskets, you can use the trimmed area to hide any light gap, and leave just a sliver of a gap at the bottom, that way you can get the tint down without sucking up a lot of leftover slip. And clean FTW.
