Ok first, most the jobs we do are homes that average about 300 sq, the biggest up until now is 450sq. Usually just the upper windows in all these damn cabins. So I bidded on this job 2 months ago and they told me they were averaging 900 sq, under bidded 4 other companies and landed the job. So went yesterday to take measurements and see excatly what I was getting in too. Ended up being 92 windows and 1500 sq, so it is more $$$ in my pocket because I had to give them the actual price. I am so excited about this, its at a collage about an hour away, so maybe it will lead to other big jobs in the future.

they went with them because they underbid them. then they changed the price.

:poop I need to stop and read it. Looks like they bid without even looking at the job and offered the lowest price. Not the best form. :dunno

Congrats!

Whenever I do a bid where they provide the measurements, I always put on the sheet that my price is based on the figures they provided..... that way if they measure incorrectly, there is never a problem with adjusting the amount due.
