look in the phone book or on myspace for possible local businesses that might want a wrap, graphics, signage, or logo work. Then I will design a concept for their possible wrap and my husband will go introduce our business to their business and see if they are interested. 90% of our work comes from just getting our name out there!

activity breeds activity. started hanging signs and banners on the front (and back) of the shop with no appointments booked and in 30 min covered up for a week. I have a feeling I'll be firing up the grill in front before the summer is over.

we used to try and stick single edge blades into the ceiling. :lol

:thumb I did that at the first shop I worked for, I must have had a couple hundred blades stuck in the wooden ceiling. One day the boss finally noticed them and was all pizzed off. :lol

Arrange for a softball team or other organization to have a free car wash in front of the shop.

Offer to match what they take in from the car wash at the end of the day.

Give the organization $10 for each person they refer to you.

Making sure it is a non profit organization, the referral money might be allowed as a charitible contribution at tax time ?
