How in the world is it Thursday already!!!

So basically we have been none stop, back to back booked on everything from window tint to wraps. Our problem is, we like to make money, but time wise when do we say enough is enough and take a day off????

Owning your own business means if you don't make money, you don't eat, but how much of a risk on loss of income are you taking if you do take a holiday off, like this coming weekend???? Does anyone think working 7 days a week is way too much? Or should we just keep on because the down time in the winter will let us catch up on sleep...???

I own and operate as well. I work every second Saturday and never a Sat. on a long weekend . Working on Sundays is out of the question, unless the money is very, very, very GOOD!!

we have had a great month though, so I don't want to sound like I am complaining, but we are trying to work out a plan of attack to actually get a couple days off this weekend...maybe, as long as we don't answer the phone!

I'm tired too but excited. this is my first month in biz at a commercial location. I was working from home and doing mostly dealership work until now (and not much.) I've got about $80 in advertising this month and gonna close the month with over a $4000 gross. some of you are laughing at that I'm sure. but, I feel very blessed with the start of things. I was expecting this whole first year to be slow for me cuz I'm new to the biz and the neighborhood. I hope it keeps up. worried about winter already though. hope it doesn't slow to an almost stop. I'm gonna hammer down through the summer as much as possible. I am out on sundays. but I'm going mon thru sat 12 hours a day as long as they keep comin in.

I said it once and I'll say it again... for those that have helped through the endeavor so far, buffet at the Sizzler is on me.

congrats, and grind it out this first summer. you will definately need to dip into your savings to survive the winter.

we normally work memorial day, but we've been trying to book around it. so far so good, looks like a day off on monday.
