takes a lot of extra time for me, I may be doing a little too much. did it on a new mustang, I had a little time to play today.

here are some pictures.

Ok, what I did was, tinted it like normal, really, and then I left it long on the top. laid on the inside, cut the top edge with the knife.

Used my heat gun to heat it up and lay it flat.

did both side windows this way.

Shrank and laid the rear glass.

came back to the sides the tops were stuck good.

hit the entire edge with a file working like from the middle of the window toward the outside.

worked out good for me, any tips to do it differently?

thanks

Time to play? IN AUGUST? I wish I had time to eat! :bingo

Nice!

I have those days too. lost like 35 pounds this summer, seriously... I attribute a large part of it to being unable to eat half the time, lol

WOW! I'm impressed! :bingo

What type of file did you use?

I never filed a edge I shave with a blade how do you file ...back and forth side to side

oh by the way it looks awesome good job dude :beer

I did it only forth, so to speak, I always pushed the file away from me never back toward me.

what do you guys mean when you say shave them? just running your blade along side the window on the inside after it is laid?

Nice!

Normally I would say the same thing. Now my sales are down and I'm not going to sit and do nothing. Bumped up some advertising and I'm going to take advantage of it and work on my golf game :beer

Those windows look great man! I've been thinking of sharpening my car skills and stepping up to filing myself. :DD
