Hi folks im new here glad to find a bord that has something in common with wht I like to do . I have been tinting about 6 years right now on the side mostly I strted out by doing stero installs and started tinting after the guy in our shop walked out with no warrning. I told the boss with what he was doing for the shop I could give it a try it didnt look to hard. well I shortly found out that the idea was not hard but some of the glass that wanted to be tinted was a pain in the arse.

but I have a delema here and need some help on it if any one can answer this for me.

Is there any one here who can tell me what the tint laws in Germant are?

we just bought a 2003 monte carlo SS and are going to move to germany next year. I would like to tint the windows on it but I have no clue what the tint laws are there and really dont want to have to tear it right back off in a year.

any help would be well recived on this matter. sorry I can not read German and speak verry littel right now trying to learn some before I get there.

sorry so long!

:thumb Hi, I am from Holland and know the german law.

You van put any film on your BW and B side windows as long as it has the German approval number stamped in the film.

All major manufacturers have these numbers for all colors and shades.

After installation ,eather in DIY or professional you take your ABG paper to the

regular 2 years approval of the car and they will stamp your car papers that it has

approved film on.

Easy :hmmm:nope:hmmm:lol:hmmm:nope
