I like leaving a gap like that or bigger on !llegal tint jobs with dark front roll-downs. that way they can see out at night without rolling the window down as far.

shaving is nice, but a small gap is professional looking already. most of the time I cant spend the time to do that extra step that most ppl wouldnt even care about. it is a good selling point to some ppl, but its very rare that ppl around here would even consider it. plus I dont like doing it anyway.

I also don't shave "all." it's either upon request w/ additional charge of course. shaving comes in handy also as a quick fix if there are very minute films that go beyond the glass. but for our family vehicles, I do shave of course. :P

some people don't really appreciate good quality and craftsmanship, and in line with that idea, those who appreciate craftsmanship and good quality are often the DIY'ers and consequently it makes no profit at all for the business :P

as the saying goes you can't please everybody.
