Are Olfa blades the best for cutting tint?

Recommended Posts

I got this email back from an olfa rep. Can any professionals substantiate this?

" stainless steel blade ( product number 9181) AB-10S, which is used by most as it will not scartch glass, aluminum or other sensitive surfaces "

Is this the blade that rhe pros use?

Thanks in advance.

any blade can scratch glass. Keep the blade snapped and fresh and you will have little problem. Make sure the windows are CLEAN as any sort of dirt will get under the tip of the blade and make it scratch.....

the olfa blades took at turn for the worse about 2 years ago. they are better than the others still, but they used to be alot better. I remember when I could go days with one blade, when a 50 pack would last months. now u basically have to use a whole blade b/c ur constantly snapping new blades b/c they dont stay shape for more than 3-4 cuts. bascially...they dont make em like they used to.
