You're lucky on the 10% off. Anymore with covers, the companies don't want to give breaks to the businesses. They advertise in consumer magazines and can sell direct to the car owners at full price, so why give us a break? Just remember, retails price is just suggested.

When I work with my companies, I try to only deal with ones that will not sell retail, or offer a substantial discount for businesses. But it can be hard to find on some products.

It also leads to having customers toting their own covers in and wanting you to install. I combat this by having multiple hourly rates. It's $48/hour if materials come through PRO Stitch. It's $65/hr if we work with someone's supplied materials. Plus, there's no guarantee about the quality of the product. They are installed correctly, but can still end up looking like hell.
