Flat Glass or Automotive

Recommended Posts

We have got a guy who works part time with us installing wraps, signage, etc. We want train him for tinting and are thinking flat glass...is it easier to train someone for flatglass or automotive...we mostly like the idea of having extra income without taking up too much space in our shop. Any info would be great and if you all know of any training dvds that work well for flat glass installers...we have Stan's automotive dvds already...

thanks!

When you train for FG... have him hang a window that isn't super clean.... that way he will see how important it is to make sure the window is super clean. When I started I was just cleaning.... but I didn't understand why it was such a big deal to make sure it was spotless... until I hung my first piece. Then everything clicked.

Of course... maybe I was just a little slow catching on. :dunno
