Solkool ..sounds like bad translation by a Korean

haha I actually asked that same question to them

but they name that intentionally because people used

c on cool. and another funny thing is, they have koreans working there.

im korean too but came to the states when I was younger but

one of the guy working there was born here.

that company running by an old guy who has been in this business for around

40 years. I met him again at the sema show and he sure does know alot of ppl

and lots of other ppl know him too.

down here in central florida I think I am the only person using llumar or at least a quality tint . ( 3m , solar guard, llumar ) To me the all other with in 2 - 3 years will have warranty problems . I am the only sucker wasting my money on good film . Customers now only cares about price not quality.

So make them care. If someone thinks you are too high, ask them how many cars they have seen with purple or bubbled film. Thats why you/we charge more.

I used to use suntek and pretty much everything there is. I mostly used 2ply with lifetime warranty.

but those companies started to mess with the price and quality was starting to go down..

I had more complaints using most of the name brands. thats when I found this

"solkool" film that was being manufactured here where I am. I've been using them for roughly

6months and one thing I can tell you is that even tho they seem like an under dog but

their quality wise can match up with other name brands and price is super.

I was pretty impressed with them. thats y I posted up here to see if anyone heard of them.

I'v seen samples of there films, they look good. Never installed any or know how long it will last.They manufacture there film and go by th name American Solar Kontrol

Larry. I didn't really catch his last name but he's president of the company..

he's pretty old too. but such a nice guy tho. he said he knows alot of older guys, he's been in film industry since some

around 1960. I only deal with the guy name justin. but I'lltry to get the last name and

we'll see if he's really that well known.
