Well I retinted a 2001 C240 about a month ago and now the customer claims to see lines lookin out the back glass through the rear view mirror. Its only at night she claims though. I cant remember what film I used. It was either atr30 or atc35 llumar.

I thought I might have read a thread about this but couldnt find anything.

Anyone have any idea why she would have this problem at night?

Thanx in advance

Are the "lines" vertical? Do they have anything to do with the thickness of the defrost lines? The space created by these lines - depending on their thickness - can cause a bit of visual distortion.

I've a slight distortion at night in my own back glass, but since I did the job myself - I really didn't have anyone else to call to blame. :eye
