Massive government expansion program disguised as legislation AKA "democratic slush fund" most of the jobs created will be government jobs and I'll bet the so called infrastructure jobs roads, bridges and such will most likely be filled by unionized contractors

they could give every person a couple hundred thousand dollars still have money left ovr, that would get things going again

exactly.....that bailout money should go to us, the people. not big corporations. we're the ones that stimulate the economy.

I've got a GTI rabbit that would somke that "economic Stimulus" plan.

I know TINT doesn't want to hear my opinion, but here it is. I don't believe the govt spending money to create stimulus is the right way to go about it. I was against Bush doing this as well (that's right TINT). Instead of passing the Porkulous Bill right now, how about a 30 tax holiday, just to see what happens? Just think of the money employers could save in one month with no taxes. At the end of the year, you would leave out the income made in that tax holiday month.

I might be way off in this, maybe it won't work, but its a better alternative to giving anyone money that we ultimately pay back anyway.
