:rollin Certainly. Always have. I'm not that good freehanding straight lines.

I have a couple real old long rulers. 72" that are wonderful and originally several smaller ones were cut from another to make 3 24 "s. Recently I was given a 48" and I hate it. It evidently the whole thing was painted over at the factory. Not just the numbers (measurement increments) but painted over the aluminum itself because it's flaking off. :lol The original antiques I've had for many years were not painted, just marked where the numbers are.

the only thing I use is a black n white combo to cut the film once I remove it from the glass and repostion it to do the final straight cuts on the top left and right edges!
