Tint After 8 Yrs

The film on my car is LuLu which was put on the car new in 2001.

Some fading when comparing the film in the window channel vs the part always exposed to the sun.

Taps at 38% not sure what it tapped at new.

So, how much has the heat rejection and the performance of the film degraded in the past 8 yrs ?

Any benefit to R&R with freah film ?

I would replace it...8 years , Your bound to lose heat rejection/UV capabilites.

since your a tint shop, why not? I change film on my truck almost more than I change my undies.

same here. everytime I try a new film, or switch films, or get a sample I redo at least two windows
