shrink as much as you can on the outside and if needed shrink a bit on the inside - no need to remove the inside trim or outside spoiler

I may give it a try...

They rescheduled to a week from now..

FYI If I ever needed to shrink a roll up or a back hatch, I usually did it on the inside. I found it alot faster and easier.

I originally thought the same thing, and did it that way for a few years. but recently I've started doing a quick wet shrink on the outside, just squeegeeing most of the film down and shrinking it out. I've found I never fight with one little finger that pops up on the inside anymore, it lays down better. Yeah I used to shrink out 2-3 fingers on the inside, but then I would fight for 5 minutes with a finger that didn't want to lay down.
