nissan does have a thicker line than most other cars....so this is normal> could get better once it dries some?

as far as the hard bumps are they on the edges or in the center? would believe to be trash that might be from install...not normal

this pic looks crazy with the back glass so high off the road....

The angle of the window plays into it I'm sure, but even if just one car is behind me, the defogger lines reflect the light perfectly all the way up and down the window -- pretty distracting.

The last car I owned I had tinted in 2001 by a mobile tint pro, and I didn't have a single (noticeable) spec of contamination; It never peeled, bubbled, tore, etc for the 6 years after that I had owned the car so my bar is set pretty high.

Again, I'll wait it out and let it bake for a few more days and see where things are.

your right, but not as much as the thickness of the lines. the first time I ran into this problem was with a elder man and his cadillac. his glass was flat up and down(not much of a angle or curve) come to find out that the car had been in a wreck and the glass was replaced with cheaper glass/after market glass. for giggles you could check your window stamps, not saying its worth changing buy you may have after market glass. "would be funny if it was?"

A number of folks over at MyG37 are saying that they don't have this problem themselves; one guy said he's had two different G37s and hasn't seen this. (thread is here http://myg37.com/forums/g37-coupe/204250-w...is-normal.html)

I'm going to look really close and see if it's lifting away from the defogger strips at all due to moisture.

its true it is completely normal, and its more apparent on the g37 because of the angle of the glass, and the thick defroster lines on all the newer nissans.

as far as the eraser sized specs; you should get that replaced under workmanship warranty

a good way to see that its normal is look at the back window of cars driving in front of you. at night your headlights will cause the same effect on their back window.
