Absentee Tint Shop Owners?
Here's the real thing!! The thing that most people who think they can "sell" or think they have what it takes to run this type of business don't think about or consider. This is not a product that sells itself. You can't take it home and do it yourself. That has been well proven, but.... Every tint shop out there is held up by the INSTALLER, not the front counter. The front counter and salesmen have little to do with the success of a good tint shop. Anybody can sell tint to someone, but if the installer can't get it on the vehicle properly, there will never be any sales. Everything will be refunded or discounted to the point the shop will go under without someone installing proper work. The person or people behind the wall doing the work are who will determine whether your shop is a success or not. Truth 100% -

Absentee Tint Shop Owners?
Sounds like you need a business partner and not just an employee/manager. Find a guy who is really good at tinting, but bad at marketing. -

Copam CP-3500 / tint cutting software
Hello everyone. This is my first time posting, but I have used TintDude as a resource for years. Just wondering if anyone is still using a Copam plotter. I bought this CP-3500 from USCutter about 10 years ago and it still works great for cutting vinyl. I have also used it in the past for cutting tint patterns and it did a fine job. If I remember right it was TintTek 20/20 software. The problem now is I don't know which software is compatible because the Copam brand is not listed anymore. On Tuesday I will call some companies to see if there is a generic driver that will work, but figured I would post in here to see if anyone have some helpful information. Thanks! -
