What to put in shop Glass on

I made these up a few years back, we do a lot of in shop glass and needed to put them on something so this is what I came up with.I made them in a few different lengths and used some left over auto carpet like you can buy at your home improvement center it has like a rubber back and is low nap. And also covered the sides with some red vinyl so you would be less likely to trip on them. and used 2”x4” wood cut to the size you like.

Nothing fancy but they work great and were cheap to make.

Very nice! Take it one step further and you can cut a groove in the bottom to hold prep glass against the wall. Now you got me thinkin.....the possibilities are endless.

Great tip. I could have used something like that a couple months ago. I used cardboard instead.
