Guy that I know says if you log into a unsecure Wireless Network, your info is safe as long as you have a solid Firewall installed on your computer.

I thought you had to be logged into a Secure Wireless connection for your information to be safe ?

I believe your friend is right as long as you have a solid firewall you should be safe on an unsecure wirless network but then again is anything secure nowadays with the technology these hackers are using? I'm sure someone has a similar question or you could go to ask.com and see what people there say but I think your friend is right.

you can also use peer block which is an ip blocker. I don't know if this helps
