<~~~Thats why I joined the Beer Party. I prefer to be out on the extreme right fringe with some of the other extreme right wingers like Jefferson, Washington and a bunch of others who signed the DOI and Constitution. This thread is capitalism in action. We don't like the way they do things and we choose to buy elsewhere. Next thing you know the three stooges will make lulu the next corporate evil to take over. hahaha

In my opinion, stop whining about the warranties not being covered because you didnt fill out the warranty cards and send em in. If ya have such a problem with their policy, switch mannys and quit complaining.

CP is dumping so many good people in the name of saving money (or more to the point, more profits to give higher bonuses).

If all of you want to see CP/ LLumar straighten themselves out, STOP BUYING THEIR FILM til they fix the problems!!!!

thats not the issue in this case.

the issue is that from say 2000-2004, you had to fill out a warranty card and the customer had to have a receipt for the warranty to be valid. So, customer XYZ has their receipt, warranty card, and bad film. Their warranty should be valid.

Now, from 2004-2010, llumar decides that you have to have a warranty card, receipt, and a "verification card" so to say for your warranty to be valid. Now, customer XYZ doesn't have this verification card, since their vehicle was tinted in 2002, not 2009.

So llumar can just deny the warranty claim because they don't have the verification card that was impossible for them to have since they weren't even in existence then? that makes a lot of sense.

I have never heard of a verification card :thumb

its not a verification card, but its just a new type of warranty card that just came out, so the old customers don't have it. hence why I said "so to say" as in I don't know the exact name/term for it

Regardless of the rules a rep or warranty dept set in place at any given time, there has always been a blank box on a warranty form waiting for the roll number and customer information to be placed there.

Seems like a good idea to fill em out. I sure did when I was on that side of the counter.

if the company decides that that is no longer good enough info, then what do you do then? and they make false claims about the lady not owning the car :thumb
