Got a new player in the store

Guest SIR TINTSALOT

you might want to get a small inverter, and small printer. I use quickbooks on my laptop, and bought a small hp printer for $32 from walmart so I can print out receipts and estimates on the spot. It looks more professional and in the past I've lost bids because my bid got lost somewhere in cyberspace when I emailed it or faxed it. It is better give one on the spot so you know it's been received.

I also keep plenty of window film sample pages to give along with my bids. Customers like to have something to look at when showing their spouse, and since using them I have landed more jobs.

very true, I use the Lulu quote sheets for a preliminary estimate. Friday we put a CB radio in the van and a base station at the store so I can be in contact while driving...pretty handy.
