For marine applications , if saltwater, you may want to avoid metalized film, as the salt can corrode the film. Ceramic would be a better option , or even a non metalized spectrally selective film. I would recommend you check out Madico's Wincos film in 20 % ( kind of a bluish color ) , LLumar's CTX series ceramic film, or any auto manufacturer's color stable line up, if the "limo tint " look is what you like. One thing to keep in mind as well is that LLumar is the only manufacturer that I am aware of that will give a lifetime warranty on their product with marine applications, if you use one of their commercial /residential products.
