the deck issue is a matter of preference

I, personally, have not had one come in yet where it was so tight that I couldn't just slide the film in. I wrap a microfiber around a strokedoctor and press it really hard into the bottom edge, and in addition to cleaning that part it also sepparates the deck from the glass just enough to slide the film in. Spray a lot of slip on the bottom, and squegee straight down from the middle of the window and it doesn't pick up any lint

I would not pull the panels on those unless you have taken one off a CTS before. They are not hard, but the window switch connection is a plug made in the door & panel that can cause an issue if you get them in a bind. I would tuck the seal or use a gasket wizard. :lol

the rubber molding pop right out the door remove them no need to pop pannels or take out rear deck car is super easy with molding out the way

and as far as gila slip toss it use J&J baby shampoo or yellow joy dish soap J&J is better
