Ive been tinting at 2 different shops for the last 3 years now and have a registered business name with the state and wana go on my own, i live on the WI MN border and both shops were in WI but would like to start mine in MN. i know that in MN you need to have the legal sticker on the driver window but my question is what if someone comes to the shop and wants 35% or truck or suv wants match up 20% am i looking at lawsuits or fines if i do it... seems so much easier in WI

You should do some research on your tinting laws, and also as far as lawsuits,if someone was to get in a accident and blame it on the film and they can link it to you, you will have problems! Good luck on your new shop

if i were to write up a waiver stating that if i tinted a car illegal that they could not hold me(my business) responsible for it and then have it notorized(spelling) would i be alright or is that just asking for trouble because if i turn them away they just gona drive 3 miles across the MN/WI border and get it done there and i got a feeling id lose a lot of business
