hey guys im kinda new to tinting and i was just wondering who to do a rear window useing the 2 piece method. the only help i could find is stans videos but i could only watch the short intro to the topic.

any help would be wonderful!

okay, just to clarify... i overlap them and cut BOTH pieces? or do i cut along the bottom of the one?

Cut through both pieces. Pull both (under excess and top excess) of the cut off pieces off. Carefully squeegee With the defrost line and I would heat along that line when finished to make sure it is stuck good.

Remember to heat on the outside of the glass...in this case. :bingo

As YZ and SuperSK would also tell you(in their sleep), as you pull the bottom film out...apply lots of mounting solution while pulling. Then final squeegee, and heat.
