Good video! Thanks for the post.

Well, I think I will either try less powder or maybe try the soap method. Anybody got a link cuz I did a search and just find a bunch of threads mentioning it.

After watching your video, this is VERY similar to what I have been doing as well and for some reason, it just does not lay down as smooth as it looks in the video. I quite often have ripples in the film. In regards to over shrinking, is my gun maybe too hot because I am moving the gun along the tint faster that Tint-Factory does and probably about the same height.

Get away from the powder and use something that will allow the film to stick to the glass a little after you go over it. I think the problem sounds like the film is not laying down and you are over shrinking because of this.

I don't use much to begin with but what is the difference in how much you use?
My experience it will cause over shrinking.Use very little powder.So little you barely see it on the glass.I started using Mdogs method about 6 months ago.Only because I ran out of baby powder.I use the little soap bars from whatever hotel I have left with after staying.
