2 Questions, Sliding Tint and Power Windows

I recently got my windows tinted. It is very cold here in Indiana a few days below freezing.

After about 2 days I noticed a air bubble, no big deal took it in and the tint guy fixed it. Well about 6 days of having the tint my gf pointed out that the tint has slide down. I have a VW Jetta and the jetta has these 2 little back windows one on each side. I CAN NOT roll these windows down and the tint has gone down far enough to where I can see outside without a tint covering it. Maybe 1 cm but still noticable for me. Also same deal on my front windows (little windows on the front) When I took it in to get thoese fixed, he said if he were to re-do the tint it would come out blotchy? (talking about little windows) I dont understand, when taking off tint and putting new ones on ruin the glass or did he just not want to re-tint the car. Next I rolled my back windows down for the first time since I got the tint (17 days later) and they come up VERY slow. Sometimes they dont make it back up and I have to press down and then back up. I am pretty sure the tint is causing the problem but I dont know for sure. It is still under warrenty and I would like some info so I can call the guy out if he is lieing saying redoing it will make it patchy and etc. Thanks Any help is welcome

OT's right on the gasket theory..if your a tucker andyou don't untuck these particular cars won't untuck themselves like many do.

As far as the rest of the problems..I won't speak for who you went to..but when I redo a window..it doesn't come out different because it was tinted in the past.

You are close to Chicago so maybe take it up to OT and have him fix the problem. Might charge you though but at least you won't come here complaining. :thumb

The film doesn't usually shrink so if you see a light gap, it was probably not cut properly. How much did you pay for your job? That might answer your question.
