The Large Hadron Collider has successfully created a "mini-Big Ba

mini big bang

The scientists working at the enormous machine on Franco-Swiss border achieved the unique conditions on 7 November.

The experiment created temperatures a million times hotter than the centre of the Sun.

The LHC is housed in a 27km-long circular tunnel under the French-Swiss border near Geneva.

Up until now, the world's highest-energy particle accelerator - which is run by the European Organization for Nuclear Research (Cern) - has been colliding protons, in a bid to uncover mysteries of the Universe's formation.

Funny thing...isnt the "big bang" supposed to have come from basically nothing and by chance? I wonder if somebody told these scientists that built the Hadron Collider, that it had simply showed up in the ground by chance...without having been built or having a designer....what they would think! :chin

oh yeah lets be really smart and create a sun right here on the earth so we can destroy all life on the planet.

Yea I was like...wait that sounds like a possibly destructive device. Like could possibly a weapon of mass destruction. None the less, they recreated a scenario that could prove the "god particle" could have happen.
