chrome rims

i just bought these chrome rims that have a little rust and brown blotches. how can i remove it?? steel wool? acid?? polish??

Use Gem Rust Killer. Works like a charm. Use sparingly to remove rust on wheels. Follow directions by not letting sit too long on wheels. I use this stuff all the time to remove rust on all kinds of ferrous pieces.

I'm sure all of these are good solutions, but using the Gem Rust killer will actually dissolve the rust versus mechanically rubbing it off to make it come back later.

ok tried steel wool 0000 no luck. any others?/ looks like a chemical burn or something lol
