PLEASE , Put up a pic of said vehicle , with the visor strip in full view.

Most anyone here can spot a too low strip.

I'm sure he wants to proove you cannot tell from a distance. Therefore the stop was not legal.

Mr. Lawyer, what charges is your client facing? Other than illegal tint, which no one would ever employ a lawyer or expert witness to help fight.

Not to change the subject, but what Larry is alluding to is correct.

Tint is often used for a justification for a stop and subsequent search.

I get alerts in my email about 'news' stories containing the word tint and most of the time, the non industry related articles are about some one being stopped for tint and the cops go from there and find something.

At that point the only defense in calling into question the reason for the stop in the first place.

Keep it legal people.

Lots of visor issues today... I'm gonna but out of the other visor thread before I get in trouble and join this one, I'll do it for $20,000 and pay all my own expenses.

In some instances a persuasive rather than controlling argument is allowed when the law is somehow unclear or silent.

That being said, I give you this alternative method of getting to the same objective as the AS-1 line.

(1) The bottom edge of the material is at least 29 inches above the undepressed driver’s seat when measured from a point ( )3 five inches in front of the bottom of the backrest with the driver’s seat in its rearmost and lowermost position with the vehicle on a level surface.
